I have arranged that the Hospital shall

be under the supervision of the Medical Officer, New Territories, and the Chinese Medical Officer stationed at Taipo, both of whom will make periodical visits of inspect- -ion, and advise as to the treatment of patients.

A register will be kept at the Hospital with particulars of the cases treated, and the management of the institution as well as the administration of the funds will be in the hands of an approved Committee of the local gentry, who will be responsible to the District Officer for the good order and cleanliness of the premises, md will furnish the necessary reports to the Medical Officers con-
